Our 7.75" PHA straws look and feel just like traditional plastic straws except they are made with PHA, a cutting-edge bioplastic derived from renewable plant sources. PHA is a superior straw material as it can compost in both industrial facilities and home compost bins which produce lower temperatures. PHA is also unique in that is marine degradable and will completely break down in marine environments, should it unproperly end up there.

Straws will break down much faster in a commercial but a home composting environment is sufficient! Store and use under 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Store away from direct sunlight.
