The natural material of these World Centric compostable bags allows heat and moisture to escape or evaporate. This means that food waste stored in these bags will stay fresher longer on its way to the compost facility. This reduces bad smells in your facility, caused by bacteria building up in traditional plastic bags that do not “breathe.”

The products we sell actually are compostable garbage bags. They have been certified by the Biodegradable Plastics Institute and meet ASTM D6400 specification. They are made from a blend of PLA and synthetic polymers which composts in 3-6 months, leaving no residue.
