These certified compostable individually wrapped spoon, fork and knife utensil sets are made from cPLA, a crystallized plant-based material made from corn. This material gives the cutlery more flexibility and strength compared to traditional compostable utensils made from tPLA (talc-filled PLA), which tend to snap more easily under pressure. These sets are also wrapped in a compostable PLA wrapper for clean, sanitary use.
