Are Your Products Non-GMO?

Sugarcane and Bamboo-based products are made from non-GMO material and byproducts. Additionally, Most BioBag products we carry are Non-GMO Verified however, using resins from Europe. Corn and Fiber-based products are not Non-GMO Verified.

There is a lack of access to GMO-free crops that could be affordable to consumers. Currently, 86% of the corn grown in the U.S. is GMO, with 45% of it being used for livestock, poultry, and fish production and 27.5% for ethanol production. This is mainly No 2 Yellow dent field corn which is generally not consumed directly by humans due to poor taste.

While Good Start Packaging and the manufacturers we work with do not want to purchase anything with a GMO-base, our primary goal is to lessen our reliance and dependency on petroleum-based products.
