Open Positions

Account Manager

Due to ongoing growth, we have an immediate opening for a new full-time remote Account Manager. We are currently focused on overall company growth, new business development, and nurturing positive relationships with new and existing clients. With this opportunity comes the chance to be part of an experienced, passionate, and mission-oriented team who are working hard to make an impact.


Responsibilities

  • Learn Good Start Packaging product offerings and become a subject matter expert on sustainable products and operating practices
  • Develop new account acquisition strategy and execution plan for the assigned area of responsibility
  • Identify new product and market segment opportunities for Good Start Packaging.
  • Penetrate and further grow existing accounts with additional products and services
  • Meet and exceed assigned quarterly and annual sales goals and quotas.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations to new and existing clients.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting and maintain key relationships to educate current product offerings.
  • Organize, track, and maintain client account and contact information, as well as prospect updates in CRM database.
  • Collaborate across the organization with marketing, client services, and supply chain teams to ensure go-to-market strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, business, or marketing (preferred).
  • 2+ years of institutional foodservice product sales-related experience (sustainable packaging a plus)
  • Foodservice distribution market knowledge and e-commerce understanding a plus
  • Proven track record of developing and closing new accounts and meeting quota
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Working proficiency with Google Workspace and or Microsoft Office
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Inter-personal savvy or extrovert type of personality.
  • Experience in planning and implementing new business development and key account management strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Experience in using CRM systems, previous experience with HubSpot is a plus.
  • Passion for protecting the environment.
  • Some overnight travel as needed up to 25%

    Client Services Representative

    Due to ongoing growth, we have an immediate opening for a new full-time Client Services Representative in our Bedford/ Manchester, NH area office. This is not the typical customer service position. This is for people who love to multi-task, proactively help customers, and make a positive difference- not just answer phones. This is a new position created to help us handle a growing volume of business.


    Responsibilities

    • Answer incoming customer phone calls, website chats, and emails. Provide first-line client service, including quotes, product information, and product issue resolution.
    • Process web, phone and email orders
    • Follow up with new clients by phone to ensure satisfaction
    • Update Hubspot so that all communications are up-to-date.
    • Manage all order tracking
    • Process all returns and update appropriate systems
    • Pull freight quotes via multiple shipping vendors/apps
    • Communicate with warehouse and suppliers as necessary
    • Coordinate all delivery logistics
    • Process & pack sample orders for new clients
    • Collaborate with marketing team to find ways of increasing inbound leads
    • Consultative sales and account management

    Requirements

  • Very detail oriented
  • Willingness to work in a time-conscious environment; orders must be processed daily on a tight schedule.
  • Comfortable with web, social media, and general PC software and apps
  • Ability to work in 5+ online systems at any given time
  • Strong work ethic and get-it-done attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and business writing skills
  • Track record of reliability in previous positions
  • Professional demeanor
  • Passion for protecting the environment.
